The Eos

Coupé? Cabriolet? The Eos fuses both in great style. This is clearly visible from its new Volkswagen face too: black-painted radiator grille fins with chrome edging, fog lights with chrome surrounds and static cornering lights, as well as halogen main headlights with turn signals housed behind a single clear-glass lens set it apart as a member of the Volkswagen family, yet still convey its independent personality.

Close your eyes, count to 25 and imagine a gentle breeze blowing across your face. For that is exactly how long the five-part CSC roof system takes to disappear out of sight into the tail of the Eos and transform it from sporty coupé to chic cabriolet.

Even when the roof of the Eos is up, it can still generate some open-top feeling, as it is the only coupé-cabriolet to offer the option of an integrated sliding/tilting sunroof. This means you can enjoy a pleasant flow of fresh air even when the roof is closed, if you wish. The electric sliding/tilting sunroof can be opened separately at any time, clearing the way for a new form of open-air driving pleasure
